Company Artists

We are looking for dancers ages 18-25 to partner with us in our endeavor to share the Gospel.

Benefits

  • 3 Hours of ballet instruction per week

  • 2 Hours of rehearsal time per week

  • Dance Ministry experience

  • Discipleship growth

  • Bible study/fellowship bi-weekly (materials provided)

  • Local and regional performance opportunities

  • Commit to regular attendance for scheduled rehearsals, ballet classes, and bible study/fellowship

  • Commit to attend creative worship one Friday evening per quarter

  • Exhibit Christ-like behavior

  • No use of foul language

  • Adherence to dress code

  • God-honoring social media presence

  • Attendance to Dance Revolution convention 11/21-11/23 (as a student, or teacher) is strongly encouraged but not required

  • $25 costume fee, due at the beginning of season

  • Our season begins in August and runs until June

Dress Code

Female - Class Attire

  • Any color leotard

  • Tights top or sports bra must be worn underneath leotard

  • T-shirts are permitted in rehearsal only

  • Black or pink tights (bike shorts or leggings may be worn in lieu of tights)

  • Any color ballet skirt, worn with tights

  • Jacket tied around the waist, worn with bike shorts or leggings

  • Hair tied up neatly in a bun or claw clip

  • Leg warmers are permitted

  • Ballet shoes (pink or tan)

  • Cover up must be worn outside of the studio

Male- Class Attire

  • Any color t-shirt

  • Dance belt

  • Any color joggers

  • Ballet shoes (Tan, white, or black)

  • Leg warmers are permitted

  • Socks are not required

Performance Attire

Female

  • Nude Leotard

  • Tan ballet shoes

  • Heavy street makeup

  • French Twist or low bun

  • Costume will be provided

Male

  • Tan Ballet shoes, worn without socks

  • Neatly styled hair

  • Costume will be provided

While we cannot enforce a specific dress code outside of the studio or outside of a performance, we simply ask that the way you dress and act would be a direct reflection of Christ and the work He has done in your heart. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we ask that you adorn it as such.
